The range of services offered by Congress Messe Innsbruck (CMI) includes over 1,000 service options, all implemented with the highest level of professionalism by the CMI team.
The success of any event depends on the interplay of many interdependent factors. Our aim is to support you every step of the way, taking your specific needs into account and establishing an effective working relationship, and to give you the benefit of our expertise. From the initial enquiry to planning, budgeting, event registration and on-site implementation: much of what goes on behind the scenes should be unremarkable to your participants, visitors and guests, but the special touches will always be noticed. Congress Messe Innsbruck focuses on integrating core competences horizontally and vertically at the highest level. This is also reflected in the technical services on offer and technical team. Our professionals fulfil individual requests quickly and expertly. CMI's technical team has a wealth of experience in organising and equipping different locations and managing parallel events. Many components, from effect lighting to sound systems, are available as mobile solutions, allowing us to adapt and expand the technology in the halls and rooms to our customers’ preferences at any time.
We have our own in-house technology available to guarantee our customers maximal quality, security and independence. We are the only event venues in Western Austria that offers state-of-the-art interpreting technology by Bosch. A comparable, mobile system with the required number of receivers is available for all other rooms. These tools are an important contribution to cross-cultural understanding and barrier-free hearing. Events are accessible in terms of hearing thanks to our in-house inductive hearing system, to name just one measure.

Streaming services available as two packages (“Basic” and “Premium”) with comprehensive equipment for live streaming or embedding of a streaming link on the desired website.
Our media checkensures that everything goes smoothly on stage. Speakers and presenters can upload their digital presentations to a secure and central system ahead of the event or their time slot. This allows the documents to be checked, completed and finalised. Our in-house technical team, positioned to overlook the stage and the speakers, can use the central system to record presentations in the hall.
Our digital infrastructure is state of the artwith a highly efficient fibre optic connection across all locations, guaranteeing optimal conditions. This means that lectures can also be played in other halls at short notice if required. Comprehensive LAN connections in all halls and rooms are a given, as is secure high-speed Wi-Fi with various customisation options. Depending on the room concept, additional mobile access points can be installed. Exhibition stands can be equipped with dedicated lines with a bandwidth of up to 100 Mbit/s.
Our digital guidance systems helps visitors and participants find their bearings at the venues of Congress Messe Innsbruck. This is especially useful for parallel events. The modern screens are also available for personalised branding purposes or detailed information.
A centrally controlled air conditioning system keeps all rooms at a pleasant temperature, no matter the season. Congress Messe Innsbruck uses electricity from 100% renewable sources. Commissioning of the in-house photovoltaic systems at the three Congress Messe Innsbruck locations is planned for 2024.
Congress Innsbruck, Messe Innsbruck and congresspark igls each have their own car parks. Thanks to their central locations close to the city centre, there are also numerous other public car parks located near to Congress Innsbruck and Messe Innsbruck.
- There are around 80 parking spaces available in the Congress underground car park (which can be accessed via Herrengasse). What’s more, the connected City underground car park offers another 600 parking spaces.
- At Messe Innsbruck, there are around 150 underground parking spaces across two underground car parks and around 80 parking spaces in the open-air ground to the north of the building.
- Visitors of congresspark igls have access to 80 private parking spaces.
- Electric vehicle charging points are available at two locations: there are two charging points in the Congress underground car park; at Messe Innsbruck, there are four charging points in the open-air ground to the north of the building and two in the Siebererstraße underground car park. There are plans to install electric vehicle charging points at the congresspark igls location.
There are no lorry car parks in the city nor around the venue. Lorries can be parked at the Rossau business park. For details, contact the project management. You will find a parking space plan for lorries here.
Sufficiently powerful electricity connections are installed in all key spots (stage, foyers etc). Exhibition stands have access to a power supply system with 230 V (±10 %) and 380V (±10%) and 50 Hz. Running water at stands can be provided, but this must be arranged with the project management ahead of the event.
At all three venues, goods can be delivered before the event and picked up again after the event. The details will be discussed during the planning stage.
Loading platforms, goods lifts, hand pallet trucks and trolleys are available at Congress Innsbruck. Deliveries must be announced in advance so that our team can receive them.
We do not accept deliveries on behalf of exhibiting companies at the trade fair centre. The respective companies are responsible for this.
The team behind Congress Messe Innsbruck are responsible for ten own exhibitions, including one world's leading trade fair, making them true experts at planning, organising and implementing trade fairs of all types and sizes.
All three venues – Congress Innsbruck, Messe Innsbruck and congresspark igls – offer halls and foyers predestined for accompanying exhibitions and poster sessions .
Whether you need to get connected to the IT infrastructure, power or water supply, help with stand set-up, equipment, AV technology or delivery and logistics, our team will support you with all these matters. You will benefit from their advanced expertise and wealth of knowledge and experience.
All three venues of Congress Messe Innsbruck offer countless ways of setting the stage for your event and showcasing your brand. They range from traditional branding methods – such as flags and stickers on staircases and sliding doors and covers on pillars and bannisters – to large-scale banners. In addition, the digital guidance system and its screens can be used for advertising purposes or to display other information of your choice.
Graphic services are one of the core competences of Congress Messe Innsbruck. For example, we can provide in-house services to produce, set up and install fascia labelling or information signs. It goes without saying that CMI also works with other professional graphics companies to ensure that your event has a striking aesthetic.

Accessibility across all areas
Accessibility is important to us. We want anyone to be able to visit our locations and benefit from our events. Be it for a conference, trade fair or concert: people with disabilities must be able to enjoy any event easily and without obstacles. Congress Innsbruck, Messe Innsbruck and congresspark igls therefore fulfil all legal requirements for accessibility in event venues.
- All public rooms across all three event venues are barrier-free and accessible to wheelchair users.
- Accessible toilets are available on every floor.
- All stages across all locations can be accessed via mobile wheelchair ramps.
- Disabled parking is available right at the entrances of all three venues.
- Flexible seating layouts can be arranged at every venue and in every room.
- The Saal Tirol room (Congress Innsbruck) is equipped with an inductive hearing system for people with hearing impairments.
- All other halls use a similar mobile system with twelve receivers.
- Messe Innsbruck and Congress Innsbruck are equipped with a tactile guidance system leading to the respective information desk at the entrance.
- At congresspark igls, there are visual guidance points for people with visual impairments.
- All lifts have voice announcements and acoustic signals.
- The handrails in the Messeforum and in Hall B (Messe Innsbruck) are equipped with tactile letters and numbers.
- Guide dogs are allowed in all venues on presentation of a licence.
- We offer concessions for people with disabilities at our own events.
Mobile inductive hearing system
A mobile system provides the option of setting up an inductive hearing system at all locations. The system is positioned in the lecture area and, with the help of the mobile induction system, spoken language is converted into a frequency that is transmitted to the headphones or induction loop, which in turn communicates with visitors' hearing aids.
As the system is only configured according to specific requirements, the request must be made at least the day before the event by calling +43 512 5936 1142. The required receivers will then be ready for collection and must be returned after the event.
