Large crowds of visitors: Alpinmesse with Alpinforum

Europe's largest mountain sports fair, the Alpinmesse with Alpinforum, became the central meeting point for mountain sports enthusiasts from 11 to 12 November.

Visitors to the Alpinmesse with Alpinforum on 11 and 12 November experienced a wealth of information and interaction. Visitors with a passion for mountain sports made the most of the opportunity to exchange ideas with leading brand manufacturers. The Alpinforum conference focussed strongly on safety and accident prevention. The event emphasised its leading role in Europe with a wide range of training courses, workshops, lectures and exciting competitions. The high-calibre keynote speeches and multivision presentations by international extreme mountaineers delighted mountain enthusiasts. 

The 16th edition of the Alpinmesse with Alpinforum was a central meeting point for mountain sports enthusiasts from all over Europe. Over 12,000 visitors came to find out about mountaineering, skiing/ski touring/freeriding, climbing & bouldering, biking, trail running, alpine travelling, alpine safety and first aid & rescue systems from more than 200 exhibitors. An extensive information and prevention programme with over 40 lectures and 50 workshops consolidated the outstanding position of the Alpine Trade Fair in the mountain sports and alpinism scene. An independent visitor survey conducted during the trade fair revealed that around 90 per cent of visitors gave the Alpinmesse with Alpinforum top marks.
