FAFGA 2023: Quality and impetus

The 35th edition of FAFGA alpine superior, Tyrol's trade fair for catering, hotels and design, impressed with innovations and new products.

Investment and inspiration

From 18 to 21 September, the 35th FAFGA alpine superior provided important impetus, especially with a view to the coming winter season: around 11,800 trade visitors took advantage of the offerings of around 250 exhibitors to find out about new products and innovations, to invest and to make purchases on site. Around 50 exhibitors presented their wholesale ranges at the WEDL trade fair. In addition, over 20 start-up companies in the new start-up and innovation area attracted the attention of just over half of the visitors.

According to an independent survey conducted during the trade fair, around 85 per cent of visitors came from Tyrol. Over three quarters of decision-makers stated that they placed orders during the trade fair or afterwards. Many successful premieres also took place at FAFGA 2023: At the new FAFGA FUTURE FEAST and Tourismus Topics Tirol formats, high-calibre speakers provided insights into the catering and hotel industry of the future. ‘Tourism trade fairs are not currently taking place under the best conditions, so I am delighted that the top-class FAFGA alpine superior exhibition and supporting programme were so well received. FAFGA stands for excellent quality of trade visitors and I am delighted that so many successful young entrepreneurs and aspiring specialists and managers also took advantage of FAFGA 2023. 

More than 75 per cent of trade visitors rated FAFGA with top marks and definitely want to visit FAFGA again next year. For us, this is a clear mandate for the future.
