Trade fair duo impresses young and old

Kreativmesse & SENaktiv: Innsbruck's cross-generational highlight delighted visitors with a unique combination of topics, products, lectures and workshops for all age groups.

Popular trade fair duo as a meeting place for generations

Everything revolved around offers for all generations at the Innsbruck trade fair from 16 to 18 November: The 45th SENaktiv, Western Austria's largest seniors' fair, and the 5th KREATIVMESSE Innsbruck offered a wide range of products and services for all age groups. The great interest shown by visitors in the wide range of counselling options as well as new solutions and products for active ageing and creative design is proof of the successful synergy between the two formats. The trade fair offerings were complemented by a high-quality programme of lectures, information and entertainment as well as numerous DIY workshops.

A look at the needs and interests of Tyroleans illustrates why the two formats met with such great interest: in Tyrol, the over-65s make up almost a fifth of the total population. This age group therefore plays a significant role in our society. The do-it-yourself trend is omnipresent and permeates all age groups. With the combination of the 45th SENaktiv and the 5th KREATIVMESSE Innsbruck, Congress Messe Innsbruck offered a unique range of topics, products, lectures and workshops that inspired people of all ages. Over 10,500 visitors flocked to the exhibition halls to experience the wide range of products and services on offer from almost 160 exhibitors. The exhibition was also enriched by the 24th Enquete of the province of Tyrol, the provincial conference of the Tyrolean Seniors' Association and a wide range of dance, music, culinary delights and entertainment.

Christian Mayerhofer, Managing Director of Congress Messe Innsbruck (CMI), summarises with satisfaction: ‘The enthusiasm of Tyroleans of all ages for the trade fair was once again clearly noticeable this weekend. I'm delighted that the two formats and their themes complement each other so well and that young and old are coming together on a shared platform. The SENaktiv and KREATIVMESSE Innsbruck have fortunately established themselves as a fixture in the trade fair calendar for all generations.’
