Do you need help finding a hotel?

There are around 20,000 hotel beds in Innsbruck and the surrounding area, the majority of which are 3 and 4-star hotels. Thanks to the central location of Congress Innsbruck and Messe Innsbruck, there is a large choice of accommodation providers in walking distance. The idyllic town of Igls also offers many hotels.

Tyrolean cuisine is famous far beyond the state borders. The Innsbruck region is home to many culinary destinations where you can sample and celebrate local delicacies prepared to the highest standards. Over the centuries, the alpine tradition of dairy and cattle farming has shaped traditional Tyrolean cuisine and brought it to international fame: delicious butter and milk, home-made cheese, smoked ham, meats but also vegetables and fruit are the basis of nearly every traditional dish, from Tiroler Gröstl and Kasspatzln to Tiroler Knödel and Kiachl. The local spring water is a particularly precious gift from the mountains: clear and fresh, it is of an outstanding quality. It bubbles from every tap of the region to become an ingredient in many dishes – and the locally brewed beer. Innsbruck Old Town is dotted with countless public drinking fountains.

Alongside many traditional Tyrolean restaurants, Innsbruck and its surrounding area are home to many award-winning and international eateries.
